From the site: Kat's life took a difficult turn on February 22, 2011, when she suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result of a car accident. She is now in need of 2-3 months of cognitive rehabilitation therapy in Texas, but her insurance will not cover the cost. We are trying to raise the money here to allow her to gain the tools to get her independence back.
