They are keeping the 'My 98.1' branding and still directing listeners to the website of My981Chattanooga.com. What does the future hold for 98.1? Will 'My 98.1' be back on December 26th or will they make yet another format change?

I think they've found a format that's working right now. Let 'em do their Christmas thing and I'm sure they'll be back afterward.

ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure they'll keep the Hot AC format since they are still using the "My" name this year & not simply "98.1 Chattanooga's Xmas station". Hopefully so. I like Hot AC. Just wish the imaging was a bit better. I thought the imaging as "98-1 LND" sounded better (although the name was dumb). Anyway, I think My & Kiss make a good combo so I hope they stay.

Just heard a few minutes this afternoon. Heard 2 promos with pop songs in them along with the christmas branding so i'm betting the plan (for now, at least) is to bring the format back after the Holidays.

ReplyDeleteI used to sell for Mr Bass and I remember him call al of us F&^%ing embarrassments in a staff meeting. I never worked for anyone that way before and never will again. He was just plain mean!
